currently: 1. Progressive 2. $196 3. clean now i think... don't remember when my last ticket was 4. 22 5. currently '97 sebring
(i switch the vehicles around on my policy a lot cause i have 3 cars... plus this month i get to change my insurance company and that will save me over $700 a year! woooohoooo!)
you guys pay a LOT for insurance... 315 a month for ONE CAR??? the only time my insurance was that high was when my insurance lapsed so they raised it... and i had both my celica and my sebring on there... normally with 2 cars it's somewhere around 220

Celikitten you are in PA. Big difference in insurance rates from L.A. to PA. We probably have more crime, more unlicensed drivers, and more cars on the road. We assume more risk.

It looks like I'm the old guy with the cheapest rate... I have two vehicles on the policy so I get a multi-car discount. Also my house insurance is with the same company, hence another discount.
1. Allstate 2. 38.66/mo 3. clean record 4. 50 5. 2000 GTS
This is for full coverage: liability, comprehensive and collision.

so i assume the cheaper prices are for just liability because "just" liability is really cheap.

I like that rate! 38 dollars. can't wait til i'm old... also I live in MA there are stupid laws that fix insurance rates so most of the big discount insurance companys geiko progressive etc won't even offer insurance in ma. get it through my father inlaw and dunno what kinda insurance it is but it's about 150 a mo but it's 6 mo plan so 300 a mo and then nothing for 6 mos.

^^ yeah i would so not be driving... haha... that's $6000 a year!
but if you wanna drive there's probably nothing you could do about that cause with 3-4 tickets and an accident... it'd be hard to find an insurance company who would take you...

Sorry to kind of go off topic here. I'm planning on buying a 7thGen Celica in March and selling my Grand Am. I've seen that a lot of you put up what you're paying now, but my question is, how much did it go up/down from your previous car (if you had one). I'm going from a '96 Grand Am GT (4dr, 5spd) to a Celica (GT or GTS, 5spd). I'm 20 and I'm still insured under my parents, which we have full coverage and all have clean driving records.

When I get my 2001 GTS its going to be 1. AAA 2. 310 a month 3. clean record 4. 20 5. full coverage with 500 deduc To answer RavenX I had a 95 corolla and paid 100 a month I just got a check to see how much it will be a year for my new car with full coverage and he said its going up almost 2000 a year I dont see why I am so much higher than some others with AAA.
