I'm interested in knowing what people think of Hybrids these days. This is all my opinion, but here are some good/bad points; I'd like people to post their opinions too.

Good points:

1) Fuel mileage (duh!)

2) Torque

3) New hybrids have a lot of power

Bad:

1) Heavier

2) Hard or impossible to mod for performance?

I was watching the news today and saw an article about Toyota's new Highlander hybrid. The AWD version has 270 HP, is a full second faster in the 1/4 mile than the standard gasoline Highlander, and gets 28-30 mpg (it supposedly comes out in April). I think its only a matter of time until a hybrid sports car comes out.

True, but the Highlander hybrid looks just like the normal one. The Honda Accord hybrid also looks just lika any other Accord.
