Which is better? Cast or Forged? Whats the difference?

Forged pistons are generally better than cast ones. In general, the processes of forging and casting are the same, but I believe that forging is done under higher temperatures and pressures, giving the metal a more robust temper. There's probably more to it than that, but I'm not a metalworker.

If you're talking about pistons, forged ones are the prescribed option for upgraded engines. That said, you probably don't need them unless you're intending to either A: add boost to your engine at the same time, or B: run some sort of crazy nitrous system.
