Actually, I know a little about that car, it's a concept for ford right now, the body is aluminum, and it's been polished. It's not actual chrome, it's polished aluminum.
I think the reps said it took them over 3000 hours to polish the body like that (figure their shop rate is about 50-70 bucks an hour... you do the math!)
If the car goes into production, the polished finish will not be available, as far as I know.
