Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior TRD wing v.s. WW wing

I know that the 2 wings are similar but what do you guys prefer and why? What are the differences? weight? looks? Does anyone know if the WW wing uses the stock holes for mounting like the TRD wing? This has pbb been discusses previously but I would like to know. THanks

i like the trd wing becuase of third taillight on it dont know much for the differences

i wanna know the answers to these questions as well. im just about to order trd replica spoiler, and later on in the spring a ww kit.

trd:
3rd brakelight
mounts with 4 bolts on each side
blade is curved slightly
authentics have a screw visible on each side of the cover plate (where the blade is adjusted)

wings west:
no 3rd brakelight
mounts with 2 bolts on eachs ide (such as the factory stock spoiler)
blade is totally straight
cover plate is not held by a screw (nothing visible)

Are there TRD wing replicas w/out the third brake light?

now if you just don't want the third brake light, you can get the wing and shave it, or try to find one that doesn't have it.

they're both so common looking... many wings exist which look a lot better

i like the brashboy spoiler..if i were to get either a wing or spoiler.

i have the wings west wing. the flares on the side don't go as far inward towards the cabin of the car. the bar is thinner, but it DOES have a 3rd brake light. at least mine does. i also had the lines where you can adjust it molded out to a smooth finish. i like it pretty well.

Wheres the cheapest place I can get a TRD wing or replica of a TRD wing? If possible a replica TRD wing w/out the third brake light.
