I'm on the 60 mile way back from doing pickups for the day (pickups are usually about 120 miles round-trip)... and the freeway comes to a halt because of something up ahead.

Seems as though some dumb-ass ran into a fire hydrant and everyone on the freeway wants to stop and take a look at it

so yeah... you can guess what happened from there  ... anyways - I managed to find my way to an offramp and a gas station in downtown Hollywood at 4:45pm and get some fuel... then get back on the freeway and work my way back to the office to drop-off my pickups this just goes to show that IF NEEDED, you CAN drive while on EMPTY (zero fuel bars on the indicator) ... Last picture for the day - I saw a nice Honda Civic DX Type-R on the offramp near my office

A kid in one of my classes a few years back wanted to see if that would happen so he ran a fire hydrant over with his car. he was dissappointed that nothing happened.
