5th gen alltrac or 7th gen gts

I'm gonna be getting a new car next month, and i wanted to get a 7th gen gts, but one of my friends on this site (bet most of you could easily guess who) has me thinking about a 5th gen alltrac. I've always liked old school celicas, especially alltracs, but i love the way a 7th gen lowered with vert doors looks. the body on both apeals to me, but the alltrac is turbo awd, and 7th gen is n/a fwd. what should i go with???

unless you have mad money to spend on upgrading the turbo and engine, get the All-trac. If not, get teh 7thgen GTS, it's your best bet.

get the 7th gen just because it's much newer than 5th gen and more parts available, do you really need to go that fast?

Just depends on how much you value looks over speed. For me it would be a no brainer for the 7th gen. because it is my favorite looking car. You would want to think about the reliability of the alltrac.

lots more parts available for the 7th gen. plus they look much better. I mean i have a GT and i have gotten up to about 115mph. do you really need to go much faster? GTS can hit about 130-135 i would assume. mabye more. Plus you will get more heads to turn in a 7th gen. more heads=more of the ladies looking at your ride. wink

i do like the design better on the 7th gen, but theres just something about the alltracs that i like. i am leaning tward the 7th gen, and you guys are only helping that. i think that the 7th gen would be fast enough, hell my 4th gen is fast enough, i've taken it up to 125 with room to go further. but still, awd turbo is just plain fun.
