Celica Forums General Discussion Interior radar detector mount

i looked around for abit and did a search through the forum but i couldnt find anything on mounting a adar detector. i have seen pictures of it mounted to the rear view mirror, and that is basically what i am looking for. i am going to purchase a valentine 1 soon. my friend has a v1 and he tried to put it in our other friend's celica, but with the way the windshield and the rear view mirror sit, it is a little awkward stuck to the windsheild. i want to get it as high as i can without it being in the way to where i cant see. any help would be great, thanks.

Mine used to sit on top of the rear view mirror! If you can find one to fit there, thats a good spot. But i got rid of it, im trying to get that one radar that comes in different units, so that i can hid it behind my bumper grill!!

anyone know how to mount it? i know ive seen pictures somewhere...
