Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Idea for the TRD supercharger

i really wanna get that fucking supercharger, i saw a raised hood for a 95+ eclipse. I'm gonna try to get a hold of the makers and push them to make a hood like that.

that sounds like a good idea i really want one to, do you know how much they are going to be retailing for yet?

if someone could donate the money too me for a the supercharger and a little bit extra for modifications to the hood and stuff i'd do it

i think that the eclipse hood comes like that stock on some models. kuz ive seen tons of eclipse hoods like that. i dont see why they didnt put the humps on both sides of the hood so it would at leasat be even... oh well.

I think Black Widow's new hood for the Celica will be raised. I haven't seen any pics of it yet, but judging what the rest of their hoods look like, it might just work.

If so, the only two questions left are 1. will it find enough room in the engine bay and 2. will it be a direct bolt-on for a 2zz, considering it applies to a 1zz?

thats lame for $3500.

This is often the case with roots type blowers. It's a trade-off. You get amazing low-end because it boosts off idle but top-end efficiency is nowhere near a turbo or centrifugal type supercharger. A custom turbo would be more worth the money.
