hey guys. i got an AIR/FUEL ratio gauge and a TURBO gauge, im goin to run the turbo gauge to my air intake. can anyone tell me where i need to run the sensors for the gauges? thanks for the help, ask questions if you need more info. thanks a bunch.

you have a boost gauge but no turbo?

supposedly you can also tap into the other blue wire on the other connector, voodoogts said it was more accurate, but they say to not to here confused

so do you have a turbo??? yea tap the blue wire for air fuel. Goodluck buddy.

The boost sensor goes somewhere after the turbocharger.
The AFR gauge probably taps the wires for the stock narrowband O2 sensor.

weld in a new wide band O2 sensor and connect it to that.. better results and range of readings.

dynojet makes one that records your A/F ratio and everything and comes with a wide band O2 sensor for 500 it's very cool..

no i dont have a turbo
the two gauges came in one pod that i got
but my technician says i can wire that to my intake

any help with the intake sensor?

um...not sure where the turbo wire would go on an intake confused

you realize that your intake is a vaccuum... and that you have NO boost right?

Vacuum is the opposite of boost.

You can hook it up, but it won't tell you anything important.

Then again, neither with the AFR gauge.

let me try and explain this to you ...

vaccuum is when the engine sucks in air, unless you have some sort of forced induction, there will always ONLY be a vaccuum...
boost is when air is forced into an engine... you need a turbo, supercharger or nitrous oxide to get boost.

your gauge is only gonna show vaccuum if you hook it up to where the intake is, which is fine, but completely pointless because its obviously going to never change, and you do not have to monitor it.

so, if you want it in there for looks, go for it, but thats the only point if it...

AFR is almost useless as well, but it can give you an idea of if you are running rich, lean or stoich... but again, unless you have some sort of ECU tuning, or F/I, its only for show.
