I am ready to buy tires for my rims finally, and I dont know which witdth to go with. 215/35-18 or 225/35-18?
I know that a 225 will give me the stock size, which is good. But which is the better choice? Will I really need to have a tire that wide?(225)
Please share some ideas.

oh yeah this may help. I am lowering the car with the Eibach pro-kit. I dont want any rubbing. so what would be the better choice?

i have 225/40 if that helps no rubbing at all i can turn my wheel all the way
also i have trd drop which is the same as pro kit

go with wider, looks nicer and holds you on the ground better.

the 215 gives a better look than the 225 in my opinion. but the the 225 give you more protection from curbing your rims since its a little wider than the 215. it depends what you want. i say go with the 215.

225/35/18 bro, a slightly wider tire will give you some extra performance in both acceleration, braking, and cornering.

I'd go with 225/35/18, good compromise between the 215/35 and 225/40

If it rubs or not depends on what offset your wheels are. I have 235 tyres on 19's, and a bigger drop than you're planning and I have no scrubbing.

Told you 225 is the way to go if you can find the right tire that you want! Also get the 40's because it will kill bumps better and ride smoother!

I have 225/35/18.. on my 18s (I also have 17s but another story) I was very happy with the 225/35s i didn't find any problems with the ride... i would never go with a 215... to narrow.. also from behind the tire would look like this \_____/ but with the 225 it would be like this /_____\ or |____| much much better!!!

that 215/35 will have a very low profile to it. to low for a comfortable ride in my opinion, go with the 225/35.
a 215/40 would have a similar sidewall height to that of the 225/35
you can however find more tires along with cheaper tires in the 215/35, 215/40, 225/40 then in the 225/35's
