what do you guys think, I know SRI is a bit more power and sound, but will taking out the butterfly, and putting in a K&N be almost as good, and save me the time and money?

lol no comparison. I had the BfV out for a few months. Now have RMM SRI. OMG the sound is so much better. I relaly odnt know how much more hp you get. maybe like 1 or 2 more maybe, out of the like possible 3 or 4 max hp from a sri But for the looks and sound alone it is well worth it. I highlt reccoment getting an sri wether it be rmm, injen, tpr or ebay

Dont trust toyota they will blame my speaker blowing on it ok amybe there not that bad bu still. So if you dont want that hassle just get k&n but it uw ant much more impressive sound get sri

no cel from removing butterfly valve as long as you plug up the tube that connects to it. I used a large screw that wdged in there then electrical taped the bitch up if you dont plug this up you will get a cel. here you go. gooluck buddy: https://celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_57307_0_collapsed_2__1.html

Zero, don't you have a TPR intake? If you do, then you don't need to remove the BFV because the BFV is on the stock intake box which you already took off when you install the TPR intake.

Zero,
Do you have a TPR intake on order? Have you gotten a date on when they will ship?

ive removed the BFV yesterday and it only took around 10 minutes. it was sort of difficult to remove the top part of the air box. i know it doesnt do much, but i've felt a noticable difference with my celica's performance - she feels faster! i love the sound it makes and cant wait to get a CAI
