hey i got a RPS 6 puck clutch bc my other clutch is worn out but i want to know what a 6 puck clutch does exactly, what does it mean it "engages faster", what kind of performance does it give out, and how i can take care of it.

Thanks

it's just meant for racing that's all
meant for high hp cars with a lot of power

engage faster means just that: there's hardly any half engagement area, it's either not engaged or fully gripping, it'll grab 'n' go and if you don't give enough gas you'll bog or stall. not that you can't drive it on a daily basis, just that it'll take more skill.

and a higher performance clutch just means it holds more torque for engines putting out significantly more torque than stock, like F/I. you don't get torque or hp from a clutch. well...pressure plate weights do vary, so on an aftermarket one you might pick up 1 hp haha. btw, the pressure plate comes with the clutch, and the pressure plate is bolted to the flywheel.

so now you have to ask yourself did you get the right clutch?

I would say no. Unless...are you planning on getting nitrous, turbo or supercharger soon?

Given that the RPS 6 puck is part Kevlar, at least 500 miles break in.

Who is this "Guy"?

fuck!! a puck clutch you dont need a puck clutch all youll be doing puting a lot of stress on ur drive drain... you dont need to worry about a real high perf clutch until you make shit ton of power... so go with a street and strip clutch from act and get a lighter fly wheel youll be much more happy rice also the life of a puck clutch is very short compared to a full face clutch
