well IMO, neons are better. the light is more consistant than LEDS, which often have dots. well you know... StreetGlow Gold Series or even Optx from Pepboys are good. the only thing i like about LEDs is that they can be set to different settings.

led's are more durable, but yes like zero said, the neons will looks better. but you can't really control them as much as the leds (such as dancing or multiple colors)

I have the plasmaglow underbody LED 2.1 million colors with 14 modes and speeds, and i couldnt be happier . Gotta love a unique car going down the road with something no one has ever seen before . By the way, there are no "dots" on mine..

i have led's & love em...i don't show 'dots' but there is a 'line' that you can see in the middle of the light dispersal.
led's are more durable and are brighter as well...and you can also scan & strobe them and take no time to warm up (sometimes neons offer a strobe, but thats it)

LED's My friend has LED's and a cop pulled him over mainly for speeding. BUT my friend turned off the LED's long before the cop got close. The cop said he swore he saw something and tried looking for a tube, but couldn't find anything lol.

^^ hahahah...how can he not find the tube? I love being able to put my leds on a "cop flashing" mode. I swear, when I put them on blue or red, I could pull someone over. It does like 3 really quick flashes, a pause, then 3 more quick flashes...over and over. I love my LEDs.

I love my LEDs. it was just one of those single LED lights, no tube. cop thought he was going nuts. the poor guys work long hours hahaha.
