I'll start, my car makes about 4 or 5 different rattles or squeaks and it pisses me off.

the trunk squeeks are driving me mad...i checked the trunk cover felts, the struts, sway bars, plastics, spare and jack...nothin'...i dunno what the hell it is.

My passenger side backseat rattles when it is laid down...

When it rains, my passenger side side skirt squeaks when driving on the freeway...

My neons don't work too well when it is cold (yeah, i have neons installed - for probably about 3 years now )

i have no cd player so i hear everything. talk about going crazy

my o2 sensor is messed up so you can hear exhuast stuttering.

i need a damn front o2 sensor and stock cd playe

I lost one of the stupid bulbs behind the ac panel. I dropped it down into the shifter area. And poof, its gone. Now only half of it glows at night. Pisses me off like you wouldn't believe. Plus to replace the one bulb, I have to buy the whole board with both lights for like $70. Looks like I'm wiring an LED behind there.

The liitle LED that tells you your AC is on does not work, drives me nuts. Need to check the fuse but have yet to get around to it.

My TSRM makes about a dozen different areas rattle whitle driving and at idle.

My radio changes stations on its own.

Busted one of the clips that hold the trunk cover thing, so when you open it, it falls out of place.

The noise the belt makes.

damn passenger side front speakers rattles at certin base tone, think its the screen and not the speaker. Alternator pully squeeks when its cold. Have lost about 4 screws and bolts down the engine bay. Both headlights are missing a screw to hold them in Missing one of the bolts for the front bumper. Any i have onyl had my car since june

driver side window rattles when i shut the door and play music loud. trunk shocks don't stay up often.

agreed...i have this when it's cold and rainy out...bugs the hell out of me...

the stupid engine bay plastics underneath are loose.
the black rubber sealer on the passenger window is loose.
my passenger front speaker rattles.
my exhaust makes a loud rattling noise because it rubs my blitz rear bumper.

Forgot about the small leak in the driver side weather striping at the top where the glass meets the rubber, when ever it rains a few drips get in.

Also when its cold out the windows go up and down very slow and make humming sound.



Why did I buy another celica? Sometimes I don't know what I was thinking.

oh yeah, and the trunk doesn't stay up unless the weather is 90d or higher... the trunk feels like it weights 100lbs - the shocks are TOTALLY shot

I've got that problem as well. Plus 2 of the 4 screws that hold on my engine plastics just dissapeared.

my damn left driver side pillar rattles sometimes and my rear hatch makes weird ass noises when I go over bumps sometimes. Its anoyying.

It needs vacuuming.

lol the interior of my car is immaculant

- There are a few small scrapes under my front lip.
- Belt noise (er I need to fix this)
- CD Player skips every now and then
- Somehow, there is chetto dust fingerprints on my ceiling

Squeeky clutch. Same problem with my '01 funcargo. Toyota needs to develop some better lubricants.

few, but that's good considering the age of my car...
1st. trunk shocks are shot...and that's shit considering my subs are kind of connected there when i open the trunk
2nd. peace of plastic in the trunk has a little crack and squeaks like a bitch at times...but i can't replace it because toyota dosen't make that color anymore.
3rd. the fact that i have a small oil leak, not significant enough to matter, but it anoys the hell out of me.
4th. ac dosen't work, needs to be recharged, but it's converted to r134a, so i can do that fix.
5th. missing the front driversside flormat is missing, again, cant get it because of the color
6th, and last. the centerconsole was cut to gheto fit a pos radio and a wiring harned is cut, both problems are fixed, but they anoy me because there still like that, but only i know and can tell.

I dynamat the whole car last summer, but now I have no subs or after market cd play because my car got broke in and insurance don't care

the little covers below the seat belts keep falling off.

my first gear squecks when I put it into gear... Like a sound of no lube

Trunk shocks are shot too.

Driver side window wiper squeaks because the wiper always slides off the its holder. The metal holder scratched the windsheid, but you could only see it when it rains.

creeking in the moon roof area... i have to turn up the music to drown it.

my seat makes this weird sqeek

Oh yeah, forgot that.

It's the cover to the roof. If I open the damn cover, it doesn't make a sound. Half-way open is the worst.

In side of my door rattles when I have my bass up.

There's a little paint chip in my spoiler. Drives me nuts when I wash my car. I need to touch it up.

um...and yea that dang moon roof cover makes noises now that i want it shut in winter

ok when i turn the car on in cold weather (which is lots in NJ)...the windows like expand or somethingand make a whistleing noice which dont stop until i push the window in OR bring them down about a quarter of an inch and put them back up...its fucked up but i dont wanna take it to the dealer just 4 that...b/c they will blame it on my taillights somehow (dumbass Crestmont Toyota)

my drivers side door squeaks when i open it and when i start my car.. the starter does not disingauge fast enough and grinds (common problems in a DUB).. but still very annoying and my front bumper is held on by zip ties (inside finder wall) because i was backing out of a drive way and my bumper caught on the end and RIP.. gone

I have the same problem with my kaminari when idling...

Mine only work when not holding the cargo tray...

Mine rattles a little when is closed. I tighted the bolts, but still does... I keep it open most of the time. I keep the cover open coz I got the experience that I closed it all, and got stuck! That was a pain in the butt to open... I won't take that risk again.

The person who owned the car before me put some shitty exhaust that rattles around and moves a lot, so when I hit bumps or dips I can hear it like hit ( I hope its the exhaust doing that)

and the second is the deep paint chip on the rear bumber, it stand out, and squeeky clutch.

and like everyone else the squeeking, I even had new bearings and pump put in the car, still does it when its cold.

One of my AC vents kinda broke when I put on the overlay.
There's a chip on my Carbon Fiber hoodscoop.
One rim is bent from when I slid on to a high curb which in turn created my balancing problem. If I let go of the wheel the car starts going to the right.
That's it.

uhh my cd player will stop music sometimes if the next rack button is pushed.

i love this thread btw...for me:

When i installed my head unit and interface adapter i was lazy and didn't ground it properly...and ran the power lines right next to the speaker ones...so when my HU is on light volume i can hear whistling...and when my neons are on it's worse...it annoys the hell outta me but i'm lazy so i just turn it up

my neons are also held on with twistie ties

my vizage rear keeps coming loose and i just slap on more layers of double sided tape

the belts sqeal like a murdered pig when they're wet and i start up the car

my dome light or something rattles...and my door handles...

sometimes when i put the car in reverse the gears grind...

i'm sure there's more...lol...pretty bad but...i love her...the good and the bad

oh yeah...

my drivers side window goes up slower than the passenger...

I dropped a few screws into my center dash piece behind my head unit so when i hit certain rpm's i can hear tham rattle...

my driver's side floormat thing is broken so it doesn't hold the mat in and i have to straighten it every morning

the plastic part of my rear latch is cracked on the one side

my front grille is held on half with hot glue

EVERYBODY WITH SIDE DOOR RATTLING WITH THEIR SPEAKERS...I just figured out the problem today. I turned the bass up to 4, but a song on and stood outside trying to see what it was. I tried squeezing both sides of the door really hard and nothing changed.
I then figured it out. Its the DOOR HANDLES. Next time you jam music, go outside of your door and pull up the handle, all rattles will be gone

my glovebox rattles, I've reorganized everything in there twice, still something keeps rattling. Also, I can hear my moonroof squeaking when I pull out of my driveway or just make slow turns over bumps

Forgot to mention: its an AUTOMATIC. My parents can be really lame sometimes.

Ditto, annoying the fuck out of me. I saving up some cash to dynamat the whole car!!!!

forgot about the belt, car only has 10,000 miles on it

the moon roof creaks sometimes
noises coming from trunk when driving over ruff surfaces.
wierd noise coming somewhere around my glove back and passenger side door.
moon roof leaks sometimes when it rains and cover is open.
one of the bolts is missing on my driver side fender so its a little open.
I spilt soda on my shifter . so the panels stick when i change gears

where should i start:
1. i had belt squeaking, that was changed. when i had that, at low rpms the car made a 20 year old noise, thats resolved also.
2. valve ticking.
3. driver seat makes noise if it moves alittle
4. doors rattle or speakers touch the plastic while playing music.
5. too much weird noises coming from the sunroof, rear when im going in or out of driveways.
6. drivers floormat always goes forward on one side, its only hanged from the left.
7. scratches the thief put on my trunk
8. dashboard quality cheap and too dry, very easy to sctrach.

my gas light is on..alot
and ofcourse all the weird sounds, scratches on my car..stupid ppl and their backpacks.
then theres always the curb marks on my car..dam they ugly

i had toyota replace mine worked like a charm havent had anymore problems since.. cold or hot the door stays up

i have a wierd noise coming from my glovebox.. very minor but i can hear it and its annnoying ... only at high speeds 85+ mph... ive emptied it out and its still there... im thinking it may be my strut bar ?? does that need to be tightened once in a while or what? could that be the problem?

^^it is ur strut bar, its the screw connecting the bar to the brace or wutever that is. i had that weird noise too, i thought it was from behind glovebox or dashboard, but thats wut it was.

yeah, i thought so! so i probably just need to tighten that sucker rite?
