Ok, well since there seems to be so many different opinoins about the UR pullies (they'll damage your engine, it wont damage your engine, etc), I'm gonna go ahead and call one of the companies that sell these things to find out for certain if they're safe or not. So i need your guys help (well not really). everyone tell me what you heard about the pullies and crank pullies, what you think you know and what you think is correct, blah blah blah. (different opinions are welcomed) thanks.

eh...I dont think they(or any other store who carry them)will tell you that it hurts the engine or not...they might give you a lot of expamples which does not answer ur question...give it a shot tho

I personally dont have a good impression about the UR pulleys..

the only guy who had a problem related to UR pullies wasn't really related to the pullies to begin with. he had a low oil level which is why he blew his motor. it had nothing to dow ith the pullies i think. do a search.

the only way they would be bad is if they remove the harmonic balancer, that is very bad

i have ur pulleys, dont listen to these negative bastards. aem is pure under driven, under driving blows. knock some wieght off your crank you'll see a difference. first off i dont even think the harmonic d. is on our stock pulley just looks that way because of the rubber ring. my mech. said they'd be fine. do it up i did, and i'd bounce on your car because of them haha, just kidding. but they are a good mod thumbsup

Word. There is also someone on teamcelica that has had them on his GT for 27K. He has had no problems. Its not that you will have problems, its that you are lowering your engine life. Kinda like turbo, NOS, SC. Understand? How long have you had them for Vtec?

yea I had it installed.
I think it's great...
it's so much lighter than stock and you can feel the throttle has a better response.
It's better if you have more engine mods.

People will tell you that kicking in the side of your car is good for it as long as they make money from it

any kind of mod will shorten the life the your car to some degree. poor installation is also a factor.

if you don't want any worries then don't mod your car. you just have to remember that if you do then think of it this way, the more complex the upgrade or mod the propensity of a problem can occur.

if you notice true racers (indy 500, scca, and even streetracing) individuals and even professional mechanics are constantly adjusting or repairing their cars. it's all the nature of things.
