Absolutely, Sounded like they were talkin about some other car! My GTS has none of the probs listed. Shifter problems...sounds like they need to hire a test drvr who can shift!!!!!!!!!peace!

I don't agree with much of anything in that article,it just anoyed me more and more as I read it. I think all these guys drive is Buicks, and how is the Couger the most closely matched to the Celica... just goes to show how much they think of the car. Funny how Raod and Track, Motortrend, and so on don't complain about the Celica... if i remember correctly they greatly enjoyed the car. Then again these ppl actually know a think or two about cars, and actually like to drive.

their radio show "car talk" is actually quite entertaining. they are somewhat local in this region (cambridge/boston) but they are a national program. their perspectives and reviews are very peculiar but then again we are of a different generation.

this is some of the stupidest shit i have ever heard of in my life.

shit...any time that my friends and i have to caravan anywhere, my friends are fighting for "shotgun" in my car...not to mention the people who actually want to sit in the back just so they can ride in the car!

What is that crap i never once had a problem

This is the first bad article twards the celica ive ever read. All the other articles said it was a good car. The only bad comments Ive heard were the interior scratching and the lower torque. I for one like the smaller interior. Saves me from being the dd.

They had the wrong guy do the test drive. Seems like this guy wants every car to be a family wagon. They should only let him test drive the Volvos.

Can't believe he said that a Focus ZX3 is a better car when compared to the Celica. I drove a ZX3 for 1 month as my transition car from my GT to my GTS and it was probably the worst car EVER. My girl can even vouch for it.
