 Almost went... ended up being lazy. The HIN scene worries me... between the people who attend, and the fact that cops know there are thousands of import tuners in one area to nail...

at the end of HIN, a ton of cops and flatbeds rolled right in the front entrance, like they were doing an illegal street racing raid or something. people tried to get away but many were cited for vehicle violations. other cars were loaded onto flatbeds and towed away.

true they were entering private property, but I'm sure they had "probable cause" b/c they had undercover cops scouting the show, and also taking down VIN numbers ahead of time. great way to treat car enthusiasts like criminals. something tells me if it was a "American Hot Rod Show" none of that would have happened.

seriously...not sure...but my guess is a ton of "illegal exhaust" tickets to most of the people there. "it's not stock and sounds kinda loud, here's your noise ticket". then there's a ton of other stuff...CARB, vehicle too low, illegal colored lenses (clear corners etc), window tint... ...all high priority crimes
