when in doubt, look under your hood. theres a sticker on the underside of the hood that tells you where certain things like where the pcv hose is and valve clearance specs and how to change your coolant. thumbsup

well its supposed to clean out the hose and gunk in it...therefore resulting in smoother idles and such.

heres my picture of the PCV hose on a GTS motor. Hose "A" is the hose you wanna pour some of the seafoam down.

no you dont, you just take it off from the top part of hose "A" and you can use a oil funnel to help pour the seafoam.

make sure and have someone help you out, a g/f or a homie or your dad. SO they can sit in the car and keep the car from stalling while your pouring this stuff down the PCV hose because it will choke a bit. Then pour the rest of the sea foam in the motor where you initially pour the oil when you change it. Then start her up and let her run for a bit and go for a test run to clear up the sea foam in the motor. If you want, go and check out the tip of the exhaust. You may see some weird grayish colored stuff come out and it will spit out of the exhaust. Thats normal, thats the sea foam working and doing what its suppose to do. But any more questions just ask I can help you wave

OK so, what is the exact steps?

Take off the top of hose A.
Start pouring the seafoam or start the car first?
Down the whole thing of seafoam or what?
Have someone inside the car play with the gas pedal in the case of the car choking
Turn off car then plug the hose back in.
Run the car a bit and then take it for a test drive.

Do I have to put some in the oil input?

sounnds good to me^^^

usually you start the host first...take it off..and start pouring it in slowly.

after you put in half a pint...close it up and then let it idle for like 5 mins...then take a drive..to run out the excess seafoam..

Rich, will seafoam work with synth-blend/synthetic oil?

ok let me see if i got the gist of things...
1. disconnect the top part of the hose
2. pour a small amount of seafoam
3. start the car and give it some gas
4. smoke a blunt
5. then take her out for a test run.

i hope this is the way it is, because im gonna get me another bottle of seafoam for the gas tanks thumbsup

*CORRECTION* on number "3" you must have the car on so it can suck up the seafoam and go through the PCV hose where it's suppose to.

Question(s): What does the PCV hose do, where does the Seafoam go when you pour it in there, and how does cleaning it help you? Where in the throttle body does it lead to? IACV?

well pouring seafoam into your PCV hose will clean out all the gunk and dirty stuff in there and in through the valves in your engine...resulting in quieter engine noise. once you pour it in..the excess seafoam will just burn off through the exhaust.
