Celica Forums General Discussion General TRD exhaust gurgling

i have had the TRD exaust on my car for many months now but i was wanting to know if anyone elses TRD exhausts make a gurgling noise when shifting?

when i shift from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd at mid-range RPMs, the exhaust gurgle alittlebit (not pops or backfires) when i push in the clutch (and it now lowed...just a low growl).

it also gurgles when i am in 1st or 2nd while letting the engine slow down the car (like when going down long, small inclines).

has any one else experienced this? and is it a normal thing?

check for an exhaust leak somewhere. cuase that will cause the sound you're talkin about. a good place to start would be at the flange near the axle.
or it could be nothing.

thanks lucky...i have checked around that seal...but i cant feel any exhaust escaping, so i will check further up the pipe
