I just got some 17's and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get an alignment done when they are installed?

make sure you get some 81270 (i think thats the number, it would be easy to find out) alignment kit offline...u can get it from jegs.com for like 20 bucks or so...b/c if you go to get an alignment they will say you need them and then charge you like 90 bucks for them...just some advice...but yes get an alignment

You don't need an alignment, when you get an alignment they will be aligning it to the same specs as if you had the stock wheels and tires on there.. You also don't need that alignment kit if your car is stock height, there is plenty of adjustment in the suspension for that, my gf just had her celica aligned with a 1.5" drop with no kit needed at all..

Thanks for the heads up. I don't think I am going to need one.

you didn't change the suspension setup. No need for alignment.

I got 17x7's with the stock suspension. No alignment needed. I went with a 205/45/17. Tires and wheels should look good.

well if you got rims you should get springs too and you definately need an alignment if you do that...contrary to what InfernoSonoma's gf did...(p.s. thats not a dis, just facts...i dropped my car about 1.5 and you could just look and see it was way off alignment)
