Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Aftermarket xenon hyper white headlights

For some strange reason my car burns out the hyper white lights like a whore. Ive replaced them 3 times now. Why the crap is my car doing this to me!! I dont even touch the bulb when I install them, in fact I wear gloves.

It almost seems like the bulbs cant handle the power and burn out. What could be the problem?

After that happening to me all the time I finally woke up and just bought the real thing: HID's. I couldn't believe what I've been missing; it's one of my best mods yet.

My suggestion? Get HID's.

humm thats prob what ill end up doing. with all the $$$ I've spent on replacing these stupid bulbs I could of had a half saved up for some.

card is right aobut saving for HID, but if you dont ahve that option i woudl go for piaa extreamwhites. Now you said they keep blowing i woudl check for shorts or something int eh wiring. or it coudl jsut be crappy bulbs. celica seems to be tempermental about that.

where can i get good deal on some hids??

Ebay is probably your best bet. That is where I got mine (320 shipped brand new for whole kit). Or you might get lucky in a group buy in these forums.
