does the stock GTS come w/sway bars already???? i have an 03 GTS i looked under it and they look like it has them i was wondering coz my dealership is having a sale for $149 dunno what brand(is there a TRD version) i dunno if thats a deal or not coz $149 sounds cheap and also would this benifit my ride and make a huge difference in handling?? confused

ok all production vehicles to include the celi that have independant suspensions have sway bars, otherwise they would not corner at all.

yes TRD makes a sway bar kit for the celi.


if it is a toyota dealer, i seriously doubt that 169 is for the TRD bars. now if it is for one of the bars, it is possible. but a dealer will charge over 300 for the set.

Basically if you install thicker (stiffer) sway bars at the front you will increase turn in response and understeer and if you install stiffer rear bars you will get more oversteer. Stiffer front and rear bars will improve handling at the expense of traction. It all depends on your preferences.

which dealer is this? you sure they aren't talking about the trd rear strut bar? well i'm going to santa monica toyo for 75K maintinence (cuz my experience of toyo service is not good) and after that head to brs for my trd install!! whoohoo!

sway bars along with strut bars will definately be noticeable in handling.
