Just better throttle response, makes a bigger difference if you're running a crazy sound system. Overall it's not a bad mod for the money!

I have it. Car starts up faster. Lights is a bit brighter. I agree, pretty good for the money.

Used 2 10 gauge wires. It's good for 140A on the engine where the length is less than 5'. People overkill with the 4 gauge. I don't know anyone that has got 200 Amps pumping into the engine block continuous.
The biggest difference I notices was the body ground. My windows and antenna roll twice as fast.
I have $5 tied up in it.

A grounding kit makes a small difference. The car already comes with it's own ground wires, but they're very thin and won't hold as much of a load as the big aftermarket ground wires. As posted earlier, some noticeable changes with a grounding kit would be faster start up, brighter lights, slight increase in throttle response, etc. Also it gives a good feeling that you have an upgraded grounding system I got my grounding kit from Tuned Innovations for like $30 shipped. You may want to look into voltage stabilizers because they do almost the same thing but supposedly more efficiently. It's quite expensive though, like $100+...

There is not 140 amps running through the engine. If you have a 4 gauge wire running to an amp(s) in the back plus a high power headunit, it make perfect sense to have 4 gauge grounding wires. The whole point of the kit is to increase electrical efficiency, mostly for audio.

I made my own also, but crimping those wires are a bitch. I went one step further though, I made a ompilation of the Teamcelica kit, Happies kit, and the trial kit...but I noticed smoother engine performance as for more HP, its probably too little to tell the difference...make it yourself its a whole lot cheaper

So it is more efficient to use a chassis ground for an amp instead of running a separate circuit to the audio system? Steel is better than copper? Have you calculated the voltage drop in six feet of steel under a full load? If so What handbook did you use? I used the AC4313.1B.

This is just some data on a potential (ephasis on the word "potential") problem associated with having multiple paths to ground, particularly with audio and video systems: http://www.epanorama.net/documents/groundloop/basics.html"A ground loop occurs when there is more than one ground connection path between two pieces of equipment. The duplicate ground paths form the equivalent of a loop antenna which very efficiently picks up interference currents. Lead resistance transforms these currents into voltage fluctuations. As a consequence of ground-loop induced voltages, the ground reference in the system is no longer a stable potential, so signals ride on the noise. The noise becomes part of the program signal. Ground loop does not cause problems when all of the following thing are true: 1. None of the wires in the loop carry any current 2. The loop is not exposed to external changing magnetic fields 3. There is no radio frequency interference nearby If there is any current folowing in any wires, there is then some potentital difference which causes current to flow in other wires also which causes problems. The loop will also act as coil and pick current from the changing magnetic fields around it. Wire loop acts also like an antenna picking up radio signals." Don't flame me I didn't write it. Don't flame me I didn't write it. Don't ask me to explain it I only loosely understand it my self. Where did I find it? Well somewhere there is a really hot librarian chick in the back book storage room with her hair falling out of its bun and her classes on sideways from bouncing up and down while straddling the maintenance guy on the floor and screaming GOOGLE! That explains why spark plug impulses can be heard on some radios. Shielding takes care of almost all of the symptoms listed. Im surprised that shielding hasnt caught in automotive applications like it has in other industries. We are ok because we use DC as a primary supply and there are no carrier/Tx signals on the common ground.

i got mine from tuned innovations, i thought it was a pos kit. the connectors fell off, down into my engine bay, so i had to spend another 30minutes trying to find the things, and then had to recrimp all of the connectors back on better. after all of this, i felt no differece, heard no difference, and saw no difference. worthless waste of time mod in my book.

Some say that Tuned Innovations hasn't had as good quality as they did in the past...other people have reported exactly what you just said: shoddy kit and no benefits. I didn't have any problems with mine though, so maybe I'm lucky...
