well, for the celica, i would get the turbo charger. For the TRD supercharger, you need to get the special hood so it fits because the supercharger itself was made for the toyota matrix. I doubt you'll be getting the Blitz because it $$$.

Go with a turbocharged application. Supercharges cost too much money for a minimum amount of gain. The celica cannot support a twin turbo setup, or large turbo setups. C2gas's kits have gotten pretty good reviews. I'd do a search on here for that kinda thing.

The celica cannot support a twin turbo setup, or large turbo setups. Nor does it need to. Our cars are plenty light. Whereas some cars can push 400 or 500 street, ours doesn't need as much to keep up. I raced an RSX type-S the other day, he had exhaust as far as I could tell and an almost empty tank of gas (he was going to the gas station). My car is a stock GT and I had just filled my tank that day. We were even for a few seconds, then he got a nice chirp during a shift and pulled ahead. Beat me by about a car's length or car & 1/2.

stick-get a turbo. auto-get a supercharger. The supercharger is not a direct bolt on and you need a new hood, very good tuning and a new throttle body and belt so it might not be something you should get done unless you know a very good tuning shop. The supercharger gains 50 percent more horsepower overall when you take into account all rpms but only 30 percent peak so it wont be very good for drag racing. The turbo gains about 70 percent peak and about 50 percent overall which is ideal for drag racing. If you are really into going fast and trying to impress people get the turbo. Everyday driving is what the supercharger is great at.

^^Actually, the turbo gains percentage wise are based on PSI and original engine power. The atmospheric pressure of 02 is 14psi. At 7psi, you are adding 50% more air, 50% more fuel, thus 50% more power, or 210 on a 140 hp GT. Bump it up to 14psi, you're doubling, or 100% more, so you should be in the 280 range, depending on condition. With a supercharger, you won't get the 50% gain(peak) because of the parasitic effect of the belt.

The trd sc is a relatively small sc and gains start going away once you get up to 8 psi. Matrix owners tried using smaller pulleys and didnt show any gain. With the turbo you can up the boost and gain a lot more.
