I want to clean, shine up my dash but I don't want to use regular armor-all. It makes it way too shiny, like its rubbed with oil or something. And if you do the doors too, it can get on your clothes. Have you guys found something else that works great, more like a lotion effect (kinda penetrates through, gives it a low-shine gloss and makes it look rich & new)... like stuff you'd use on your leather seats? Or just anything that works better just plain old armor-all?

Armor all is bad because it contains silicone which can dry out and make your dash crack.

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant as it protects from UV rays as well.

I go for the cheap stuff. Armorall wipes. I keep them behind my seat and wipe my dash down every week. I usually do it if I'm stuck in traffic. thumbsup

that's probably pretty unlikely though that your dash will crack... i've been using armor all forever and never had a problem... my GT has been sitting in the sun for the past 2 years since the tranny went and the dash still hasn't cracked... and i used to coat that dash with armor all

I would never use anything armor-all makes because I have been burned in the past. These plastic dashes shouldn't crack, but the residue left attracts more dust. I use a flat pannel display cleaner for all of my tint and interior cleaning.

Bottom line is that the dash in our Celi is not made of a material that is ever going to "shine", so the best one can hope for is dirt-free

I'm going to try the NXT from Meguiars. I did a search on the Internet and everyone likes it. Armor-all for the dash is old school, because that's all was available like 10-25 years ago, and even though it gotten better with time, it still not as good. Alot of people complaining about it. So might as well go for the right stuff. thumbsup
