I am selling a set of custom smoked TYC tails. The lights have a nice dark red tint but it doesn't effect the light output. Looking to get $110 shipped.

$110 shipped is way, way too much!

rem you can get those for around $50 shipped and then buy some tint for like $10 to $20 from a store around you and tint them yourself. You'd spend $60 to $70 instead of $110, and the lights you'd be getting would be brand new and not used.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

Well I think $110 is fair since I was getting $95 for tinted stock tails, and these are much nicer. The lowest I have seen them recently is $75 on ebay plus the tint is $15-20, clear coat, and all my time wetsanding them perfectly smooth then buffing them out with some compound. I dont just spray them, I spend allot of time on them to get rid of the orange peel and trapped dirt. They look like they came stock this way.

Yeah the price isn't bad...

It takes a while to tape off the reverse section so it lines up perfectly...especially if you haven't done the taillight style before and don't have a template.

Also...you have to sand the taillights before you spray them so that the tint sticks well and won't peel/flake off. The tint is sorta tricky because it can get blotchy or run very easily if you aren't really careful what you're doing...then the wetsanding in between and dust gets on them easier than anything you could imagine. The cheapest I've gotten the tint is $12 shipped...clear coat is $4 minimum for an automotive quality...it takes a few hours to do well.

Plus these are the first set I've seen done. I'm going to do a set for JAY-D soon that will be a little darker...but these are the only ones I've seen...so if you want a custom set...here you go.
