I think I have decided to get the Tein Basics in the next couple months. Since they are coilovers and have set heights, do you still need to wait two weeks to get an alignment, or can you get one when you put them on? I've also heard that the hotchkis camber links aren't always good with these coilovers, is this true and will I need them for sure? Last, but not least, I was thinking about hotchkis competition or street sways, and wondering which would be the best for great handling on regular roads, not just the track. Thanks!

its always best when you change suspension to let things settle for a while. Camber kits are usually helpful when you drop cars as well, as for your specific problem I do not know the answer. But after 2" stock specs for alignments change. If you drop it less than 2 you should be able to get it aligned without any problems, but definately get a camber kit. I align cars on a daily basis where I work and lowered cars without aftermarket camber kits are a pain in the ass to align. hope some of this helped. thumbsup
