who else besides me thinks these are the gayest commercials for a car ever made? It's like they went and got the biggest ricers they could find and put them in the commercials.

yeah, that commercial made me laugh so damn hard, the first guy's lisp and he has canards on a mostly stock tc????????????????????

I like the computer effects they did on the tC commercial. The one with the digital jaguar(?) sprinting down the freeway. xB and xA commercials sucked.

the commercails sucked...anyone else realize the cars were modded with non-scion parts??? its like they are encourging doing aftermarket parts...but if we were to try that with our celica's and the door handle breaks off for some ungodly reason...LATER WARRENTY...fuck toyota and fuck scion

they shouldn't say the phrase "tricked out"

when the celica was first introduced it had commercials and the works..it's 5 years old now, they didn't need to market the car especially when it wasn't selling
and people KNEW about it so it wouldn't matter about marketing a car they don't make anything off of

the tC did not replace the Celica.
Scion was added to capture the youth market
the MR-S and celica had no sales in the US, so Toyota doesn't need them anymore when they have new and exciting vehicles coming

the purpose of the Scion is to promote aftermarket parts
toyota has aftermarket parts to slap on the car when you buy one...just costs more money so they make something off of it and it also keeps your warranty for those type of people

the scions are all about modding...so aftermarket yes.

yup they promote the hell outta the scions... and then they complain about the celica not selling..

have you guys seen the latest Scion xA commercial? since when did toyota, besides that ricer video they had on their website under the Celica, condone illegal modifications?

Ricer? i dont know about you guys, but in the latest xA commercial, i thought both of them were hott as fuck, esp. that boosted orange one.

I think he was refering to my Celica...execpt mine doesent have "Samurai Graphics" ...i dont drive arond like i own the road...As ricers do...My GT is slow...i drive for looks...not to speed...my 3 police tickets prevent me of that...so dont rag on my celica...shes my baby! and i love her even if you think shes rice...she still turns heads...

i just saw that commercial. first off, those guys in the commercial are larrys, they look like computer geeks who stand in front of a tv and play video games 24/7. 'i got a carbon fiber hood, a boost controller, and a turbo timer, and i like to have sex with ex-jail mates in my scion xA'

Effectively, it didn't. I certainly don't think of it as a Celica replacement, even though that's what some people say.
