I just dont like the fact that the cat has to go, since there is going
to be a law here in NC that makes your car have to be smog legal. cry

I think custom is the only way to go. why bother keeping the small 2 1/4" pipe (barely) when you can replace it all with a nice 2 1/2" or true 2 1/4" all the way down? my baby has a full custom exhaust. i'll try and get pictures of it someday...

go to your local muffler shop & get a custom one built mandrel bent catback, only costs around 200-300.

yes you would need a seperate muffler.. just get a cheap ebay muffler & get the correct size for your piping..

all muffler shops can do mandrel piping any width you want, if they can't don't go there they're not that knowledgeable.

yes you would need a seperate muffler.. just get a cheap ebay muffler & get the correct size for your piping..

also they would give you a 1yr warranty in most muffler shops..

^ It should. It sits about an inch and a half out the back on a stock bumper.

these aero turbine mufflers look pretty cool if your going for a custom exhaust..

I also like the flow masters they have a sound canceling technology that actually improves flow while reducing sound. I'd use one of these two kinds of mufflers if I was making a custom exhaust..

Not all shops can do mandrel bending. Hell theres two places here in mass that I know of who even have a mandrel bender and only one with a CNC bender.

Whats wrong with an axle back exhaust?

TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING!
