I just dont like the fact that the cat has to go, since there is going to be a law here in NC that makes your car have to be smog legal.

I think custom is the only way to go. why bother keeping the small 2 1/4" pipe (barely) when you can replace it all with a nice 2 1/2" or true 2 1/4" all the way down? my baby has a full custom exhaust. i'll try and get pictures of it someday...

Please help me out here because i am really confused. go to your local muffler shop & get a custom one built mandrel bent catback, only costs around 200-300.

^ It should. It sits about an inch and a half out the back on a stock bumper.

http://www.aero-turbine.com/buy/details_2540i.htmlthese aero turbine mufflers look pretty cool if your going for a custom exhaust.. I also like the flow masters they have a sound canceling technology that actually improves flow while reducing sound. I'd use one of these two kinds of mufflers if I was making a custom exhaust..

Not all shops can do mandrel bending. Hell theres two places here in mass that I know of who even have a mandrel bender and only one with a CNC bender.
Whats wrong with an axle back exhaust?
TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING! TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!
