Hey I just installed the injen short ram intake. I was wondering if having the heat shield helps prevent hydrolock? I read a SRI is almost impossiable to hydrolock, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks smile

you dont need it since the filter is in a safe spot. No water will get on it

yea no heatshielf for water protection, but heatshield for heat portection is good smile deff would sugest you get one thumbsup they also look kick ass thumbsup
