Is it possible to install the cai without removing the tire and splash guard, the reason is the jack i have won't fit under my car cause of the body kit and drop, I would try and use the one for getting spare on but it'd trash my side skirts.

you need to remove them and the front bumper. its easier this way.

No need to take off your bumper or splash guards. It's easier, but I didn't do that. Just cut a hole in the plastic to let the intake pipe through, then from the wheel well you can open it up a little bit and slide the filter in through that side. I did have the car jacked up though. I don't think you will be able to do it w/o jacking the car up.

what body kit and suspension setup do you have that prevents you from jacking up the car?

I didn't remove either of them and it was really easy to install. I didn't even jack the car up. I'm sure it would be a ton easier by doing all of that but it would definitely take a lot longer.

if your kit is so low... drive your can to a piece of wood to raise it a little. simple solution for very complex problem.

well my car sits pretty low but i think i'll try and get the jack under it, i had my dad check it,and he said he couldn't get it under thier, but he doesn't like the thought of me adding preformance parts to my car, cause its not worth what you put in to it., is the location to place the jack just behind the tow hook-up or is it back further?

dude Id be scared to drive around too low for a jack to fit under. If you get a flat how are you gonna change it? If you need to be towed your kit will get trashed by the truck. I have a 2" drop and trd kit and its just brealy high enough to get my jack under it. Yet so low that when my motor blew and it got towed the fag scraped my trd exhaust tip on the ground and his trucks lift bearly fit under my bumper.
get a SRI and you wont have to worrie about taken the bumper off or spash guard.
cant say ive done that before... ahh crap

I never actually tried the jack myself , my dad did, and he said it wasn't possible its to low, but i dunno if i believe him cause he is always trying to prevent me from putting aftermarket parts on ym car, i also got a 1.8" drop and the trd action package b/k.
I live in columbus, gahanna is the actual name but its like 5 min. from columbus city limits.also would one of those dremel thingys work for cutting the hole out?

ohio is ok place to live but the lack of really good preformance vehicles to take on and the bored cops make it a tough place to live when you got a modded celica gts. most are just cavaliers and hondas with drops and exhausts.
