should I get the body kit painted on my car or off. If off should i take my gas lid or something for them to work off as far a color. Should I specify what type of paint or what process. I know they have one stage were its paint with the clear coat in it then they have the whole process which includes a stand alone clear coat. I what that because it would match the car better. I;m just not sure how these cats do business in these places and wether i should keep the kit on or take it off. I know the sides come off for sure but someone give me advise on Front and back. Should I leave on or take offr?

most body shops paint the kit on the car.. first they modify it and make sure it fits right..also most body shops use the color code off of the sticker that is in your door jam on the drivers side. So they dont have to actually match the color. They simply order the paint by the code. This is a more accurate technique.
I think i talked to a guy once at a shop and he said he color scans my car for a more correct match since the cars probably faded some since ive had it (2000)
