Bought a 15 bucks ebay (No brand) filter.. Yup, and I used it about 1 week and a half probably ? Look at it now...

The orange spot is rust and if you look closely, you can see that metal grill is moving off hehe. Bah, was worth a try and at least, I get to keep the CAI piping. Going to get a filter tmrow wink

what do you expect when you have the filter like right there almost outside getting hit by all the elements

wow yea i had that filter on my jeep and never had a problme with it. i think it maybe the location or something but thats spineyes

Yeah hehe, dirt isn't much of a problem.. but what I don't like is the rust and the glue wearing off frown Just want to say it's no whining post though, it's more like an advice to all of you considering buying those on ebay. Not saying they suck at all, just pointing out the quality of the filter grin Well I'm still happy I got the piping for 20$ ! Maybe I just got a lemon.. Who knows ! confused rofl

No idea.. I bought it cheap but.. as it is ! Paint was faded on the front bumper for some reason. There's also lotsa chips on the hood and some moron tried to do a touch up to hide em but I guess he picked wrong color.. It's like paint spot in the middle of it, so anyway, I'll be changing the body and hood soon enough so who cares grin

for a K&N or Apexi filter, $15 would be a great price. tongue but they cost way more than that. thumbsdown
