I got my Celica over a month ago. It was free, but there was a problem that after teh car warmed up it sould sputter while accelrating. It was so bad that it fel like I had either thrown a rod or bent both fornt wheels. I dropped it off at my local dealer, they screwed me for 350 bucks saying it was the Bosch tuneup parts that were on it. When that didn't work they told me it was the air intake sensor. Still didn't work. I bought the sensor at another dealer because the original dealer told me that I had to buy the entire stock airbox assembly...only 625 buck. When I purchased the new ais I stopped and asked the service manager how much for diagnostics per hour, he told 110 but he would be willing to work with me. They have had the car for 2 weeks now and have tested everything on the car, set idle and timing to spec, swapped various sensors and the ecu. Today I get the call, they have finally got it. It was the ignition ignitor. I am so freaking happy, no more 20-30 dollars a day in gas. I'm giddy like a school girl and cannot wait to get it back...
