Is is supposed to backfire everytime I let off the gas pedal??? Literally everytime I let it go. Most of the time it backfires really loud. Anyone know how to get rid of it or at least just a little.

Illusive from here told me to clean my maf...wat type of liquid or spray am I supposed to use to clean it anyway???

its embarassing especially when I have the a/c on...it sounds like its gargling hahaha then would make a LOUD pop

I have a kazuma too.You need to have headers with a kazuma, there is very little back pressure with out them. Mine back fires with im going down the freeway. I let off then push it again and pop. As far as the gargle its supposed to do that from braking from a high speed to low or high and just letting off the gas.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but I'm thinking of buying a Kazuma. Are you saying that the Kazuma will backfire on all stock cars? Is the backfire bad...really noticable? Is it worth getting if I'm not going to get the headers yet?

i heard if you have headers it wont backfire as much...but yea it is very noticeable. everytime i let off the gas it backfires and most of the time a really loud pop hahaha

Aw...damn I was soo looking foreward to getting it. If youd had a choice between getting the exhaust w/ no headers and stock exhaust what would you choose? Is it so noticable that you regret getting it? smile

Sorry for the questions. I was going to get a Kazuma this week.

i dont regret it...but i wish i would have gotten headers first

its not that back. It does it sometimes, not all the time. It happens when you push the gas kind of hard then let off then push it again. Id get kazuma, TPR (from what ppl tell me) or tsrm

Humm...ok. There's still a waiting list for TPR isn't there? TSRM? What's the gain on that...haven't heard of it.

i heard tpr has the same gains as trd if im not mistaken...not sure bout the tsrm tho...

i think some people but a few already has tpr...

WELL thats actually expected for an exhaust thats practically straight pipe, so id say its normal to backfire, all the other cars that dont have muffler or very much backpressure i have seen do it
