Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance What kind of numbers/times are turbos putting down?

Ok as some of you guys might have noticed, I had a choice between a turbo GTS or a stock. I chose the stock GTS because it had sunroof and leather seats plus its 5 grand cheaper. So I figure with the 5K that I saved I can get the C2 st1 turbo kit for $3600 shipped was it? Then 800-1000 install, then new clutch about 700 installed. total to be close to 6k. Is the C2 gas kit worth the price? Or should I just get a custom set-up? I think it would be cheaper, but don't really have experience in any good turbo products out. What numbers and times are people putting down with turbos boosting at 6-8 PSI? I am aiming for the low 14's high 13's so would N/A do it or do I have to go turbo? Exhaust, Intake, PFC, and good tuning? I can't think of others mods except for cams, but they aren't out yet and they costclose to 1000. So if N/A is going to cost about the same as turbo then I would go turbo.

Can anyone here with experience put together a kit for me that would be cheaper than the C2? Please list the est. price next to each product.

you could definalty get into the 13 n/a maybe twelves...if you want to get real serious turbos are very wise investment
