I just got through installing my stereo into the car and have run into a few problems. When I blast the speakers which are all MBQUART seperates the tweeters are muting out. They scream then...they mute themselves. WTF. The speakers and amps worked fine in my other car and this never happened before. I checked grounds, positive and negatives and cant seem to figure this out. This is happening to all of the speakers not just one. The mids seems to be fine it is just the tweeters that are muting. My other problem is I got that wining noise too. My deck is grounded to the 2" beam behind the radio, the one under the clock. My amps are well grounded to the frame under that long plastic storage piece behind the seats. Someone help a noob out?

might be over heating. try putting something that would cool it all down, such as a fan in front of ur amp...try it a few times too tho with different set ups, like one time have it with a fan and see how long until it mutes, then try it without the fan till it mutes, then try it with heater till it mutes
not sure if its the problem but sounds like it, because subs, speakers and other things tend to turn off do to overheating..
