has anyone here tried any of those short shifters off ebay? like the barnd power import or anything? they have like buy it nows for 19 dollars and 15 for shipping, so 34 dollars is a lot better then the price of a b & m shifter. they have other brands on there too like obx and fidanza. anyone try any of these?

hmm, theyre not tried and tested by anyone here i think. anywho whats the brand name. b+m and tsw are expensive because theyve developed them + tested them and the quality is good. si if one if 19 dollars where did they save the money making it?

I have one, it looks like a B&M knockoff but without the blue. I installed it a couple of weeks ago and it's a huge improvement over the stock shifter. I haven't tried any of the name brand versions yet, but so far I'm happy with the knockoff. One thing worth mentioning is that the chrome wasn't perfect, there was a little spot by the ball that was discolored. You can't see that part when it's installed so I just ignored it. But who knows what that will do to the longevity of the shifter. So far: thumbsup

Yea, supposedly I hear nothing but good reviews on the B&M knockoff. They might be the ones made by Megan Racing.
