Ok so my first car is this 2001 celica gt. I bought it off an old lady for 3.4k it's an auto which I don't like and now has 190k on it. But I still runs strong and I love the car very much. I've had it for a little over 7 months now. I have noticed the tranny is starting to slip a little bit but that can be expected for almost having 200k miles. Anyways I've really wanting to convert it to stickshift because I want to keep this car for a long time. Has anybody been crazy enough to do the conversion? And what do you need and what do you have to do? Thank you.

Honestly I would just keep it auto. Unless you have deep pockets.. I got a 00 Cellie Gt and she has over 270k a little slip but shes ok for her age.

Yeah I decided to do that. I'm planning on buying a gts 6 speed later on in life and just fix the little things with this one.
