Hello everyone,

I've had my 2002 Celica GT for about a year now and all this time I've wondered if the spoiler is an asthetic element or if it can actually generate down force in a functionally useful way.

I have seen some Celicas without the spoiler and they have cleaner look to me. If I removed mine would handling be affected in any way?

Also does anyone know how much the bone stock gen7 celica spoiler weighs? I am a big fan of how well these cars handle at higher speeds and would not want to diminish those characteristics.

Thanks
