Hi folks

First post here so be nice :P

Can anyone tell me is there a guide for a diy'er on how to remove the stock spoiler on a 7th gen celica...

Any advice appreciated..

Its quite simple to do. Just remove the single Philips screw within the hatch handle. Then remove the hatch plastics, by carefully pulling them away from the hatch. Next use a 10MM deep-socket to CAREFULLY remove the nuts holding stock spoiler in place. Use the help of a friend. And take extra care not to drop the nuts in to the frame of your trunk as you remove them.

If you dont plan on replacing the spoiler with another, you'll need to plug up the screw holes and look for solutions to deal with the "spoiler dimples."

Thanks for that mate,that's a great help. I actually don't have a spoiler on my celica..but a yard has one for parts in the same colour as mine..so after getting a nice price I'm gonna go around and take off that spoiler and pop it onto mine...

Though the guy in the yard said it would be easier to just take the whole tailgate and swap that with mine...save myself doing the drilling etc
