I’ve had my 2001 celiac for quite some time now and it as 326,000 miles on it. Just recently on occasions whenever I put in fourth gear around 2 1/2 thousand RPM it will pop out of gear I am worried that it is something bad but I want to keep the car going as long as possible to get it to 1,000,000 miles any advice is great.

My first guess based on a similar experience would be shift linkage. My brother and I had an E36 BMW 318i that started with a 4th gear slip and turned into an eventual 4th gear lockout.

None, they just sit in the dark and cry.
