Hey guys,

Just wanted to post this link up for anyone interested. I stumbled across this while looking for something else for my Celica. Here's a chance to get an affordable TRD Sports Lid.

No, I am not associated with this company nor do I have anything to gain besides the satisfaction of helping others.

I love my 2005 Celica GT, my gas cap is original and works just fine. You must be wealthy, but in my World, I do not consider a $249.00 gas cap to be the least bit affordable.

Good find, Connor thumbsup

This is actually decent for the TRD Sports Lid + Cap. These things are difficult to find these days.

Dean,

I understand where you're coming from, and I too have an original gas door and cap. However, like CaffeineKid said, due to supply and demand, and compared to others on the market, that is a good price. I saw one sell on eBay the other day for $425 from Japan.

I personally don't see myself ever getting one, as I am not wealthy and do in fact source most of my parts from local salvage yards. Just thought it could be useful to the few who are willing to pay hundreds for a gas door LOL.

It looks cool, but the mounting screws on the outside look to be easily removed and the gas cap doesn't appear to be locking...here in Los Angeles, it would be gone in 60 seconds in a parking lot, my gas tank drained and my alarm wouldn't even go off

It is actually riveted on just like the stock lid and should lock just like the stock lid. Sorry you have to deal with those kind of people in LA though lol

I'm in Los Angeles and have not had to deal with such people. I don't park in ghetto areas though. But when you have a nice vehicle, you tend to pay more attention to where you leave it parked at.

connor2002gt gave me some hope, and Remues just took it away from me: /

Is there any checked source where that lid with cap are available? Some Toyota warehouses?
