The ventilation hose directly beneath the oil cap that connects down into throttle body (closer to front of car not pcv valve) has a crack in it and after deep web searching found the toyota part number: 1226188602 (1710988603) which is ~$35. I have the crack wrapped in electrical tape but need a long term solution.

Anyone know of a cheaper alternative? Its a 5/8 in diameter (I think).

Hey, welcome!

Unfortunately, these type of problems generally can't be permanently solved without sucking it up and getting robbed by the Toyota parts department. I suppose you could try to find some similar generic piping and see what happens. I did also find the part here for slightly less:

OR

Hope this is helpful.

If you are not trying to keep everything OEM, there are custom air intake pipes at the local auto parts stores. Many sizes that were made for those trying to put in custom air filters, or adapting to custom CAI or aftermarket turbo setups
