Hello all,

I am currently looking at another Celica for a project and have found an 01 manual GTS in 'Absolute Red' with a very clean body and interior as well as a clean title. Car is all stock besides Spyder headlights.

Seller is looking for $500 due to an overheating issue. He says: "The car is over heating changed thermostat and put new water pump and new clutch last year....230K.... just giving up on it"

I was wondering what else could be the causes of overheating here, besides thermostat and water pump. My only other thoughts would be air in the system, a block in the system, or a failing head gasket.

So, thoughts?

Thanks.

-Connor
