Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance Stroker kit 91mm Stroker VS 93mm stroke

Hello guys,

Building my 3sgte from ground up to 600hp.

Just wanna know which stroker would be better in terms of quicker spool, my power goals and reliability.

The Brian Crower Stroker Kit - BC0354 with 87mm pistons http://www.briancrower.com/makes/toyota/3sgte_stroker.shtml
Or
The Spool Stroker Kit - with 87mm pistons https://www.spoolimports.com/spool-3sgte-stroker-kit

BC has a billet 91mm stroker
Spool has a billet 93mm stroker

Some say 93mm stroker would make my engine blow! Which I’m not sure of

I’m running a 3rd Gen 3S-GTE JDM Spec (245hp stock)

I’ll be using a Borg Warner EFR 7670 or a Precision PTE 5558 CEA Gen 2
50/50 water/meth injection and 1000cc ID Injectors
