Hello all,
I'm new here, as well to Celica ownership. I bought the car used, and I'm aware it needs work. It's a 2000 GTS with the 2zze motor. The guy who sold it to me stated it needed a new NT sensor, but everything else should be good. The problem is, the car will not go into 4th gear. I get a CEL instead. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, was the sensor the problem or am I looking at something more major. I have looked through some forums, and didn't see any right away that matched my problem, but if there was already a post with this same problem, I apologize and hope someone can direct me to an answer!

Thanks!

Have you had you CEL scanned yet? I would check that off that bat, from there you would most likely get more info on your issue. I personally haven't had this issue but it's where I would start if it was me idunno

It's throwing code P0120, TPS A circuit malfunction. That's the only one I'm seeing.
