I am looking to build up a celica, i know the gt-s starts out with an extra 40 horses, but i am not sure if the higher base compression and variable lift will lend well to being supercharged.
I currently have a gt, but have access to a gts motor i could swap in it, if anyone knows if the ecu from the gt can also run the gts or i would need to swap the ecus as well during a swap, would be great to know.
Thank you for any input.

tour better off supercharging the GT, as the GTS engine is more sensitive to over compression. In addition, if you do swap the GT engine for GTS, you also need to swap the ECU and transmission, to name a few things.

Is there any modifcations you would recommend for the gt during supercharging. I know typically toyota motors can handle a decent bit of boost stock.
